POETRY & A PINT

A Poetry & A Pint session is a highly variable

occasion where the mood is often set by the participants! 

​

The idea is simple: we provide a location, and a microphone, then release the poets. Wether they are reciting works from the classics, from underground & unknown writers, from filthy limerick and the odd rugby song or airing their own work - be warned - the subject matter can be anything at all!

Just like the Drink & Draw events, there is no judgement and no pressure, if you just want to sit and watch you can do so... but do please clap!
 

We will have the Licensed Bar running at the same time... to help inspiration flow, to increase conviviality of spirit, to enhance enjoyment of exquisite resonance or to dull the pain of poor delivery!
